Clinical Pharmacy Faculty

Jennifer D. Goldman-Levine, Pharm. D., CDE, BC-ADMJennifer D. Goldman-Levine, Pharm. D., CDE, BC-ADM - is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy-Boston at The Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) (http://www.mcphs.edu/directories/bio.aspx?ID=56) and a Clinical Instructor at Tufts University School of Medicine. She received her B.S. in pharmacy at MCPHS in 1989. Following graduation she practiced as a community pharmacist, a consultant to three Intermediate Care Facilities, as well as teaching General Chemistry at Malden High School's Adult Education Program. Prior to continuing her education she served as an ambulatory care preceptor to MCPHS and Northeastern University pharmacy students. She graduated magna cum laude from the Doctor of Pharmacy Program at MCPHS in 1996. In 1997 she completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency with an emphasis in ambulatory care at the Boston VA Medical Center. She then joined the faculty at MCPHS practicing in primary care at the West Roxbury VA before joining the Tufts University Family Medicine Residency as a Clinical Pharmacist and a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) in January 1998.

She currently teaches and coordinates various therapeutics topics and classes at the College while precepting Pharm D. students at the health center. Her practice and research interests include diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, patient education and the scholarship of teaching. She is currently involved in several ongoing research projects in the areas of diabetes, cardiovascular disease and patient and student education. She has publications in the area of diabetes and has given numerous invited presentations at national and international pharmacy and medical conferences in her areas of expertise. She participates in multiple Community Outreach Programs and initiatives. Students from MCPHS complete 6 week rotations with her at the health center. Family Medicine Residents may choose elective time with her as well, and she participates in Pharmacotherapy content residency conferences.


Social Work

Deborah E. Glantz, LICSWDeborah E. Glantz, LICSW - is the clinical social worker for CHA's Malden Family Medicine Center. Prior to this position, position she worked at the Malden Family Health Center for eight years and at The Malden Hospital as the maternity and OB-GYN clinic social worker. She has also worked at New England Memorial Hospital and The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. She received her MSW from The University of Maryland School of Social Work and Community Planning, Baltimore, MD. Debbie's family consists of her husband Mitch and her children, Rachel (age 24) and Josh (age 22).
